Aachen Home Care Liberia was established on February 26, 2017, through the shared commitment and collaborative efforts of Rev. Dr. Samuel B. Reeves, Jr., President of Aachen Home Care Liberia and Senior Pastor of Providence Baptist Church in Monrovia, and Lois A. Harris, Founder and Executive Director of Aachen Home Care Inc. in the United States.

The vision for establishing Aachen Home Care Liberia originated with Rev. Dr. Reeves, whose longstanding commitment to humanitarian service and community development inspired him to seek innovative solutions to Liberia’s growing healthcare needs. Recognizing the challenges faced by elderly individuals, people living with disabilities, and families caring for loved ones at home, he envisioned an organization that would provide compassionate, professional healthcare services within homes and communities.

To help bring this vision to life, Dr. Reeves partnered with Lois A. Harris, who brought extensive experience in healthcare administration, home care operations, and service delivery through Aachen Home Care Inc., established in the United States in 2007.

Together, they combined Dr. Reeves’s vision, community leadership, and commitment to serving vulnerable populations with Lois’s professional expertise and experience in developing and managing home care services.

Their collaboration led to the establishment of Aachen Home Care Liberia, an organization dedicated to providing quality medical and non-medical home care, including skilled nursing, elderly care, post-hospital recovery support, and assistance with daily living activities.

Today, Aachen Home Care Liberia continues to build upon the founders’ shared vision of bridging healthcare gaps, strengthening families, preserving dignity, and improving access to compassionate, professional home and community-based care throughout Liberia.
